¡SÍ se puede! Dolores Huerta, Ana Murguía y Debra Rojas!

The recent revelations about César Chávez have been incredibly heavy to process. It takes immense bravery to speak out, especially when challenging a figure who has been held up as a hero for generations.

I’ve been reflecting on the fact that we’ve allowed our movement to prioritize the "greater good" at the expense of the very people who built it. We cannot claim to fight for justice while ignoring the systemic abuse of women, particularly women of color, within our own ranks. That isn't progress; it’s a failure to live up to the work we claim to be doing.

Real movement building isn't about protecting a singular legacy or a myth; it’s about ensuring our spaces are safe for everyone. I am so grateful to the survivors who are speaking up. They aren't trying to tear down history; they are building a future that is finally, actually just.
